moridori — Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-26 (first edition)
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application and related services provided by Kijihana Daisuke (“we”, “us”, or “our”) known as “moridori” (the “Service”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
1. Agreement
- By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
- Additional rules, in-app notices, or help content may apply. If they conflict with these Terms, the additional rules prevail to the extent of the conflict.
2. Description of the Service
- The Service analyzes text you enter (“Input Text”) and displays non-binding reference information about potential social-media risk (e.g., “flame” / backlash risk) using automated technologies including cloud functions and a generative AI model.
- Outputs are informational and entertainment-oriented and do not constitute legal, compliance, public-relations, medical, investment, or other professional advice.
- We do not guarantee any particular outcome on real social networks, moderation decisions, employment outcomes, or legal consequences. You remain solely responsible for what you publish online.
3. Eligibility
- You represent that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms (or that your parent or legal guardian consents, where required).
- The Service is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we may suspend access. Some regions require a higher minimum age; you must comply with applicable local laws.
4. Accounts and authentication
- The Service may issue an anonymous identifier (for example via Firebase Authentication) to support security and features. Device changes or resets may prevent continuity of that identifier.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law or for unlawful purposes.
- Infringe intellectual property rights or violate others’ privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Abuse the Service, including by attempting to overload systems, circumvent limits, scrape or resell outputs at scale without our written consent, or interfere with operation of the Service.
- Reverse engineer the Service except where mandatory applicable law permits.
6. Intellectual property
- We and our licensors own the Service, including software, branding, and documentation.
- You retain your rights in Input Text. You grant us and our subprocessors a non-exclusive license to use Input Text to the extent necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service (including processing through cloud and AI providers).
7. Advertising
- The Service may show rewarded ads (for example via Google AdMob). Frequency and eligibility rules may change.
- Ad-related data practices are described in our Privacy Policy and the ad network’s policies.
8. Fees
Core features may be free. If we introduce paid features, we will provide notice as required by law.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) with or without notice. Third-party outages (cloud providers, AI APIs, connectivity) may affect availability.
10. Disclaimers; limitation of liability
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD 50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted.
11. Governing law; venue
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence, you agree that the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes arising from these Terms or the Service. If your local law requires a different mandatory venue, that law prevails to the required extent.
12. International users
If you access the Service from outside Japan, you are responsible for compliance with local laws (including export controls and sanctions). If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have additional statutory rights regarding personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version or providing in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, where permitted by law.
